Hyper Japan 2016, oops

I used to attend Hyper Japan every year, it's great for candid pictures of people in fantastic costumes, so much colour and smiling faces.

So I went his year with high spirits for a day of great photography, first picture below, second picture...

"Memory full, no capacity"

What?!?

I'd left my memory card at home.

I had my iPhone too, but I've never been comfortable shooting street style candid pics with it, too slow compared to my beloved Ricoh GR.

There was also a Ricoh stand, which was a pleasant surprise, showcasing the Theta 360 camera. It's an interesting device, they had it on discount but still not tempting enough, maybe one day.

Had a great chat with the Ricoh reps and they had the interesting 3D viewer below, will have to see if I can find one online.

The Great Wave off Kanagawa and Gojira

The best find for me was this Japanese silk fan, an officially licensed (from the Gojira perspective anyway) of a mashup of The Great wave of Kanegawa and Gojira! (aka Godzilla). Useful and awesome 👍
